Understanding the role of the shape anisotropy and the charge distribution of the colloidial particles on the stability of the mesophases is still challenging problem. She is going to speak about orientional ordering and layering of hard oblate and prolate particles when they are confined between two walls.
After the scientific talk the speaker is going to speak about the historical places of her home town.
